Implements and promotes instructional technologies per specific assigned grade levels of secondary, middle, or elementary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Participate in the development and implementation of a shared vision for the comprehensive integration of technology.
- Promote excellence and support transformational change throughout the instructional environment.
- Assist teachers in using technology effectively for assessing student learning, differentiating instruction, and providing rigorous, relevant, and engaging learning experiences for all students.
- Create and support effective digital age learning environments to maximize the learning of all students.
- Conduct needs assessments develop technology-related professional learning programs and evaluate the impact on instructional practice and student learning.
- Model and promote digital citizenship.
- Demonstrate professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions in content, pedagogical, and technological areas as well as adult learning and leadership and continuously deepen knowledge and expertise.
- Develop and Co-chair technology team(s) per assigned building/grade level
- Provide technology training (individual and group) for teachers/staff
- Co-teach or team teach technology programs and lessons at specific grade levels
- Create demonstrations/documents of instructional applications of technologies, allow demonstrations/documents to be available to staff in electronic form.
- Integrate most current ISTE standards into core curriculum
- Publish multimedia applications to keep faculty and staff abreast of applications of technology, and specific developments of interest and use in their work. Updated on a monthly basis (Minimum)
- Meets with building principal(s) on a regular basis (Minimum once a month)
- Meets with parents and community to acquaint them with instructional technologies that district is using
- Other responsibilities as determined by Director of K-12 STEM and Secondary Instruction, Building Principal, Assistant Superintendent of Information Technology and Operational Innovation, or Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
