Cook - Saratoga Springs High School

The Saratoga Springs City School District has a vacancy and is now accepting applications.  

• Monday - Friday / 7:00 am - 2:00 pm 
• Manage inventory: Monitor inventory and place order for ingredients.
• Plan menus: Plan menu for food service in advance.
• Ensure equipment works: Ensure equipment functions properly.
• Store ingredients: Receive and store food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Plate meals: Plate meals according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Prepare meals: Cook meals from scratch or use pre-prepared ingredients, and in bulk. This may include cooking breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
• Ensure food safety: Follow HACCP guidelines and regulations. Monitor & document food temperatures and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness: Wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, and sanitize surfaces.
• Team player, good communication skills, and the ability to be flexible
• Prior food service experience required
• Weekends and Holidays off
• Salary per CSEA contract

Food Service Helper - Saratoga Springs High School

The Saratoga Springs City School District has a vacancy and is now accepting applications.  

• Monday - Friday / 5 hours a day
• Rate of pay: $20.05 per hour 
• Prepare / Serve/ transfer food and other items
• Set up prep area/ serving line/ cash register for menu items and ease of service, stock shelves in the freezer/ cooler and service areas
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
• Assist with cleanup of food, equipment, dishes, pots/ pans, and work areas
• Complete paperwork, recordkeeping or inventory tasks as required
• Salary per the CSEA contract
