Certifications/Qualifications:	NYS Permanent or Professional Certification in Special Education OR NYS Students with Disabilities Certification

The Saratoga Springs City School District is seeking four (4) qualified Special Education Teachers to support students with disabilities enrolled in non-public schools within our school district boundaries. 

The schools include:

(1) St.Clements Regional Catholic school-  K-5

(1) Saratoga Independent School - K-8

(1) Waldorf School of Saratoga - K-8

(1) Saratoga Central Catholic - Grades 6-12

The teachers will be expected to provide:

•  Research-based specialized instruction aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor annual IEPs
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Establish a structured, predictable classroom environments that supports students with educational disabilities
• Implement consistent classroom systems, and routines within the school environment
• Foster a positive learning environment emphasizing respect, responsibility, and student engagement
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, and families
• Participate in CSE meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring
• Consult with colleagues to ensure alignment of supports and services across settings

Technology Teacher - High School - Saratoga Springs - 2026-2027

Saratoga Springs City School District is seeking an individual interested in teaching students hands-on, real-world applications in construction-related courses. The District currently has one full-time Technology Education teacher opening at the high school level.

• Currently working or have worked in construction or carpentry related fields and are interested in teaching but do not yet hold a teaching certification

• Hold a NYS Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Certification in Construction or Manufacturing   

Additional Information 

Candidates should: 

• Have an interest in working with middle or high school students 

• Possess an understanding of engineering and/or construction principles 

• Be willing to collaborate with other teachers as part of a team 

• Have experience working with adolescents (preferred, but not required) 

Salary: Per SSTA contract 

Appointment: Full-time, tenure track probationary position beginning September 2026

• Modify activities and environmental factors to meet individual student needs and promote success
• Hours will vary based on the students' individual IEP needs
• Rate of pay: $55.00 per hour
