The Saratoga Springs City School District is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and services to students with speech, language, and communication needs. The SLP will support students’ access to the curriculum by addressing communication skills in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and in accordance with state and federal regulations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred through the Committee on Special Education (CSE)  

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to speech, language, and communication development 

  • Provide direct and/or consultative speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings 

  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, related service providers, and families to support student progress 

  • Participate in CSE meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring 

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and compliance records 

  • Support the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems as appropriate 

  • Provide staff training and strategies to support communication development across settings 

Time Management and Organization 

  • Effectively manage caseload responsibilities, including scheduling assessments, treatment sessions, and consultations, to optimize student outcomes.  

  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and intervention plans in compliance with regulatory requirements and school policies.  

  • Prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve program goals. 

Qualifications 

  • Valid New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist 

  • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) preferred 

  • Experience working with school-age children preferred 

  • Knowledge of special education regulations, IEP development, and service delivery models 

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

The Saratoga Springs City School District is seeking a Physical Therapist to support students with disabilities in accessing and participating in their educational programs. The Physical Therapist will provide evaluation, direct services, and consultation as a related service in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), in alignment with state and federal regulations. 

Key Responsibilities
