Preferred Qualities
- Evidence-Based Instruction: Deep understanding and practical experience implementing the Science of Reading and structured literacy practices.
- Data-Driven Intervention: Proven ability to analyze diagnostic reading data (e.g., DIBELS, i Ready) to design, implement, and monitor targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
- Differentiated Learning: Skilled in multi-sensory instructional techniques tailored to diverse learners, including students with dyslexia and English Language Learners (ELL).
- Collaborative Partnership: Strong communication skills with a track record of effectively working with classroom teachers, collaborating with MTSS/CSE teams, and engaging families in literacy support at home.
- Positive Classroom Management: Ability to foster a nurturing, high-engagement learning environment that builds reading confidence and a lifelong love of literature in young learners
