The Saratoga Springs City School District is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and services to students with speech, language, and communication needs. The SLP will support students’ access to the curriculum by addressing communication skills in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred through the Committee on Special Education (CSE)

Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to speech, language, and communication development

Provide direct and/or consultative speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings

Collaborate with general and special education staff, related service providers, and families to support student progress

Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and compliance records
Time Management and Organization

Effectively manage caseload responsibilities, including scheduling assessments, treatment sessions, and consultations, to optimize student outcomes.
Qualifications

Knowledge of special education regulations, IEP development, and service delivery models

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
