Greenfield Elementary School is seeking a highly organized, student-centered Special Education Teacher to provide a leave replacement for approximately 8–12 weeks. This position will support students in Grades 2 and 4 by providing resource room instruction designed to meet individual IEP goals as well as consultant teacher services in the general education setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NYS certification in Special Education
- Experience providing resource room instruction to elementary students.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Ability to use IEP goals to design targeted instruction, accommodations, and modifications.
- Experience creating and utilizing progress-monitoring tools to measure student growth and inform instruction.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and proactive in supporting students within inclusive classroom environments.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
