The Saratoga Springs City School District is seeking four (4) qualified Special Education Teachers to support students with disabilities enrolled in non-public schools within our school district boundaries.
The schools include:
(1) St.Clements Regional Catholic school- K-5
(1) Saratoga Independent School - K-8
(1) Waldorf School of Saratoga - K-8
(1) Saratoga Central Catholic - Grades 6-12
The teachers will be expected to provide:
- Research-based specialized instruction aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor annual IEPs
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches as needed
- Establish a structured, predictable classroom environments that supports students with educational disabilities
- Implement consistent classroom systems, and routines within the school environment
- Foster a positive learning environment emphasizing respect, responsibility, and student engagement
- Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, and families
- Participate in CSE meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring
- Consult with colleagues to ensure alignment of supports and services across settings
