Support Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports throughout the building, including:
Cafeteria
- Coordinate cafeteria monitor/aide's roles and responsibilities
- Takes an active role in the supervision of students to support positive lunch experiences, employing PBIS strategies/protocols as necessary
- Communicates with families and teachers regarding behavioral concerns
Playground
- Coordinate monitor/aides for adequate supervision and support of playground safety protocols
- Coordinate with custodial staff and the building administrator regarding safety and equipment concerns
- Takes an active role in the supervision of students to support positive experience, employing PBIS strategies/protocols as necessary
- Communicates with families and teachers regarding behavioral concerns
Bus
- Liaison between the transportation department, building, students and families regarding bus concerns
- After transportation reviews bus videos and/or investigates reported incidents, coordinates with the building administrator to assign consequences and communicate with the families
- Collaborate with bus drivers to ensure PBIS process is consistently implemented across all educational settings
Building
- Active member of building and district PBIS team
- Facilitate support staff in their implementation of PBIS protocols – provide refreshers as needed
- Work with building administrator(s), school psychologist and social worker to support student behavior and/or students in crisis Support building administrator(s) in scheduling, student coverage, unexpected scheduling changes
- Support testing administration (scheduling, organization, etc.
Other
- Preferred candidate has a positive attitude towards learning and is able to build good relationships with children, teachers, and staff at school
- The chosen candidate should be flexible, work as a team member and be willing to learn more about working with diverse learners in our schools
- Able to multitask and be flexible

- Willingness to be TCIS trained and to do further professional development and training
- Salary per CSEA contract
