Certifications/Qualifications: | Current clerk or on Civil Service eligible list preferred |
- Candidates must be in title or on the approved Clerk Civil Service list; if not, the candidate will be appointed provisionally and be required to take the exam once announced and score in the top three
- Applicants should have strong computer and collaborative skills; be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Chosen candidate will oversee student attendance through Schooltool
- Chosen candidate will manage student dismissal changes
- Chosen candidate will communicate directly with families and teachers on items related to attendance and dismissal
- Chosen candidate will greet families and visitors to the school
- Clerical aptitude, mental alertness, neatness, accuracy, tact and courtesy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to get along well with others
- Enjoy working with students, adults and parents
- Monday-Friday / 10-Month Position
- Salary per the CSEA Contract
