Certifications/Qualifications: | Licensed Speech Language Pathologist, Special Education Teacher w/ certification or experience w/ assistive and instructional technology. |
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of the MTSS process
- Ability to evaluate student's needs, write reports, make recommendations, and present at CSE meetings
- Skills necessary to develop IEP Documentation related to the position
- Provide direct and indirect support for students and staff on the use of technology, programming, and accommodations
- Support students with disabilities in areas of: Vision Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Reading and Writing disabilities, Autism, Executive Functioning Disorder
- Experience with AAC preferred (i.e. LAMP, TouchChat, Proloquo2Go, TDSnap)
- Working knowledge of Read and Write, Keyboarding Without Tears, and all the accessibility supports of Office 365
- Support district development with increasing accessibility of the curriculums to digital platforms for student access
- Inventory management
- Training and implementation of Testing Accommodations for students with AT needs
